Happy Monday to all of you beautiful people!   We have been bustling and busy here at Meg Guess Couture!  April has been one of those crazy months..but we are so excited for everything coming from it!  

As most of you know, we just went to market in New York City last weekend.  It was a great market trip, there are so many things to look forward to for the Fall 2014 lines!

Here are some of the new exciting things we got!! 

We are getting some new shoes! There will be a ton of great options for your big day!

We also got some great sparkle dresses that we posted about all last week! 

These dresses are perfect for any occasion!  Mother of the bride/groom, we didn't forget about you!  We have some great pieces coming in very soon!  

We are also adding to our Martina Liana and Leanne Marshall 2014 wedding gown collections!

Not to mention…We are moving!! You will be able to find us at our new location on North May by the end of next week! :)

Happy Saturday everyone!! Hope everyone has had a fabulous week! We are so thankful for all of our future and past brides! You are all wonderful and make our job worthwhile. 

We've got some great pictures back from a photo shoot that was done with our Two Birds dresses recently and it was a total success! Two Birds is our favorite wrap dress that is perfect for bridesmaids, a night out, or vacation. It is so versatile with over 20 different ways to style it. The best part is... Meg Guess Couture Soirees 

This is a wedding and event planning service that we have now added to our list of services. Which includes full wedding planning and day of coordination. We also offer a free consultation with our wedding planner Christina Boothe.  

Christina Boothe started planning weddings 10 years ago.  Excited to get into the world of wedding and event planning, she researched different opportunities and she stumbled upon a wedding planner out of LA who was offering mentorships for those interested in learning the ins and outs of the industry.  What a wonderful way to begin, with one of the best Mary Dann Wedding and Party Coordinators.  From there she worked for Sherry Lopez of Your Wedding Planner out of Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Christina has planned weddings from San Diego, California to Chicago, Illinois.  She has also had the privilege to work for the Alzheimer's Association, New Mexico Chapter where she gained a wealth of knowledge planning larger events from walks to galas.  Christina moved back to Oklahoma and looks forward to helping all future MGC Soirees Brides create the wedding of their dreams.  

We here at Meg Guess Couture are so excited to introduce this new service to our brides, further making their wedding day the most magical day possible. One of our lovely brides, Jodi Cagley, chose to tie the knot in New York City on January 3, 2014 to her fiancé Andrew Dozier. Little did they know they would be getting married in arctic temperatures and snow. Despite the weather Jodi wore her floor length lace wedding dress beautifully. Congrats, Jodi! Meg Guess Couture started out as a dream.  Starting a small business can be the biggest gamble that anyone could make; but with hard work, determination, faith, and support of those love you this gamble can turn out more than anyone could even imagine.  We are dreaming big here at Meg Guess Couture and expanding the visions of Meg's original plans.

With this being said, we are officially announcing our move to 7941 North May Avenue!

We would like to sincerely thank Mid-Town for a great 6 years!  We are expecting to move early 2014 and will keep everyone updated on our website, social media outlets, and inside our boutique.  We could not be more excited for this new endeavor and hope North May will be just as wonderful as Mid-Town has been!

Congrats to the Debutantes!

While many of us are hanging out on the couch in a food coma, one of the most exciting days in a young lady's life is about to happen.  Her wedding will (of course) take this title in a few years, but the day after Thanksgiving is when a select few young women discover they have been chosen as Debs.  This time honored event will take place this December and will debut the 67th Annual Bachelor's Club Christmas Ball!  

We would like to say congratulations to all of the lucky young women selected for this prestigious event!

Vendor Spotlight | Madison's On Main

Meg Guess Couture has the daily pleasure of working with some of the best Oklahoma City Wedding Vendors. We would like to take the time to introduce and showcase one of our favorites!

One of the most fun parts of any wedding reception are the Bride and Groom's cakes!  Madison's On Main is one of our very favorite vendors and provides delicious cakes with a personal touch!

Donna is the owner of Madison's On Main and has been a successful cake designer since 2002 when she decided to take her passion for baking and learn the creative aspect of cake artistry.  Donna taught cake decorating for a year in Phoenix, AZ.  She then decided to open McNeill Manor Cakes.  Immediately, word spread and Donna had an amazing client base.  Although she enjoyed AZ, her heart belonged in the Midwest.  She relocated to Tulsa…and picked up where she left off.  Donna spent the last 5 years servicing the Tulsa, OK metro area.  Donna recently relocated to Norman, OK after marrying the amazing photograper….Kevin Paul ( http://kevinpaulphotography.com ) and decided to open Madison’s on Main!  Donna is so excited to now be servicing the OKC metro area.

We had the pleasure of working with Donna earlier this year.  She brought this gorgeous tiered wedding cake to be displayed in out boutique and also brought dozens of delicious cupcakes for our brides to sample.

Each cake is custom created for every client.  She starts with the freshest of ingredients.  She then hand makes all of the icings and fillings from scratch.  Donna has one of the most extensive menus in the area, and regularly adds new items to the menu.

Donna not only creates beautiful wedding cakes, she also provides groom's cakes, cupcakes and edible wedding accessories!

She is quite wonderful!
